General guidelines for authors:

  1. Authors should submit papers in MS Word format. All papers must be accompanied by the name, designation, institutional affiliation, and email addresses of the author on a separate page.
  2. The papers should be written in clear, correct and concise English.
  3. The minimum and maximum word limit of a manuscript should be between 3000 and 12000 words. The Abstract should be between 200-300 words followed by 4 - 6 keywords.
  4. Notes should be numbered serially and presented at the end of the article. Notes must contain more than a mere reference.
  5. Exact measurements should be written in figures (5 km, 20 per cent). Authors should use the international number system.
  6. Authors should follow the referencing style as recommended in the 7th edition of the American Psychological Association’s Publication Manual.
  7. Tables and figures are to be indicated by number (e.g., Table 1), and not by position (e.g., Table above). The journal prefers short, sharp and well-defined titles and headings in tables and figures.
  8. References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript.
  9. Submissions to the journal must be original, and not already published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  10. All manuscripts will be subjected to a plagiarism check, and double-blind peer review.
  11. Authors bear responsibility for plagiarism and the use of materials protected by copyright laws.
  12. The submission of manuscripts is accepted on a rolling basis. Manuscripts which are submitted too late for a current issue will be assigned to the next issue of the journal.
  13. The final decision on the publication of an article will be made by the Editorial Board.

Authors should check their manuscripts and ensure that they comply with all preparation requirements before submitting them. Manuscripts that do not adhere to the guidelines will not be considered for review.

  1. The submission is original, not previously published and is not under consideration for publication in another journal (or an explanation is offered for this).
  2. All materials used by authors have been duly acknowledged and referenced in footnotes.
  3. If the author’s material is substantially derived from his thesis or dissertation, the author should provide a note clearly stating this fact.
  4. The manuscript is formatted as a Microsoft Word document.
  5. If illustrations, figures, or tables are used in the manuscript, they should be placed within the text at the relevant places, rather than at the end of the article.
  6. Other guidelines have been duly complied with.
  7. All details about authorship should be placed on the first page of the manuscript. The body of the manuscript should not contain author-identifying pieces of information.
